Cheers to the lovely couple: L + L

This weekend I get to travel up to beautiful San Francisco to visit my best friend Lindsay and be with her friends and family to celebrate and congratulate she and her fiancé Lorcan on their engagement! The wedding is Nov. 4 2011 in Yountville, CA and no doubt it's going to be a beautiful and fun filled event! Linds' is one creative chickadee (check out her Bride-to-be Blog @ lindsayandlace.blogspot.com) so I know everything will have a fun Linds' feel to it! So looking forward to this year and celebrating her and Lorcan - I can't think of a more wonderful couple and can't wait to be a part of their big day!

Onesie...Two-sie...

When I started crafting for my niece I started doing applique onesies in a number of different shapes using really fun, bright, girly patterns and colors! This time around my sister asked me to make some onsies for some friends that are having boys! So I had to try out these ties! I've seen them before but man are they cute...fun an easy to do to boot! I couldn't help but also throw one in for Ava with a necklace - her first piece of flair! I've also made some burp cloths in a fun dinosaur inspired cotton print with a solid fleece backing to give with these decked out onesies.

The Rafter Family

The Rafters are great friends with my sister and are such a beautiful family! I was really excited to to snap a few shots for them at the park!

Nisha + Sam

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Nisha & Sam yet again through the wonderful Heather & Team of Amorology (if you haven't visited their site or blog you absolutely must!)

This couple has been so much fun to work with so far! Nisha & Sam are getting married at The New Children's Museum in San Diego, CA. They wanted a design that was colorful, whimsical and fun that also was inspired by both of their backgrounds. Here is a sneak peak at a draft sample that is in the works for their Invitation + Information Card!

The Exciting Adventures of Ava Mae!

Just another day at the beach for this little beach bunny! I've seen these done so when I decided to give my niece a "First Summer Bucket" instead of a traditional Easter Basket I couldn't resist...I had to try one out for myself.

Go Team Go!

This weekend we'll be visiting up in Orange County to cheer on my little brother in his last College Lacrosse home game! I can't believe he's a senior...or over the age of 21 or even able to drive let alone graduate from college soon! We're all very proud of him and all that he's achieved and no one is more proud of him than little Ava! She can't wait to go to her first lacrosse game ever! So we've made her a little outfit to cheer on her Uncle!...stay tuned for some pics of this little #1 fan at the game!

Crochet...Croceht...Crochet till the cows come home!

Crochet is something that I've recently picked up and CANNOT put down! Literally! It's one of the most relaxing creative things you can do! I've mainly been making baby headbands and recently started making beanies too! Including this easter beanie for baby Ava!

Kelly + Chris' Invitations

Earlier I'd posted some images of some fun invitations for Kelly & Chris. I wanted to share some additional images of the fun wrap labels that we did on them as well!

Alexis' Wedding invitations

Here's a sneak peak at a draft sample of Alexis' wedding invitations - done on Ivory Linen with a hand punched lace boarder. The invitation and response card and envelope will be bundled by a beautiful combination of lace and navy polka dot ribbon (sample here shows white polka dot ribbon) to tie in the navy backer cards and envelopes that we're using! Adding a sweet twist on the traditional!
Alexis is another bride I've met through Heather at Amorology and her wonderful team!

Craft Crazy!

So when my sister found out she was having a girl - I may have gone a little overboard with crafts for little Ava! Here are some shots of the fun crafts I got into...
Homemade receiving blanket, burping cloths, stuffed grirraffe, applique onsies and of course a tutu (every little girl needs one!)
Baby Shower Invitations!

Hello April!

I can't believe it's already April which means it's the start of wedding season! I've been up to my ears in wedding work but it's been so much fun working with the different brides and couples! Looking forward to wrapping up my projects and attending some weddings this year!
