Lindsay + Robert
Hip hip hooray for another ocean themed wedding! Living in San Diego there's no shortage of inspiration from the deep blue sea. I am so excited to be working with this couple on their invitation suite and the reception elements because: A) they're an awesomely fun couple and B) they happen to be VIP's in my book because the bride is the little sister of one of my best friends! Here's a sneak peak at the mock up of this fun fresh invitation suite we put together! Can't wait to fine tune the design and wording and get them printed!

Happy Holidays!
Happy Holidays!! Well it's that time of the year for holiday cheer! I've been neglecting my blog...sorry! One of my New Years resolutions will be to get back into a rhythm with that!
I've been busy trying to get things up and running on Etsy (stay tuned in 2012 for my shop to be up and running hopefully!), crocheting and I've been keeping busy crafting for the holidays! Here's a little goody I put together for some of our friends for the holidays. They're little mason jars filled with hot cocoa mix, crushed candy cane & marshmallows - easy and fun to make. You'll see our holiday tags attached too!
Here's to a Happy Holidays & a wonderful New Year!

First Feature!!!
My goodness am I beyond excited about having some of my work included in a feature on Style Me Pretty for the very first time! You'll see a few posts ago I blogged about client Sam + Nisha's invite designs. I was lucky enough to be able to work with them & the talented team at Amorology to design the paper elements for the reception. We worked on everything from the whimsical table names based on modes of transportation, the favor tags attached to the oh so chic gold animals, the escort & place cards as well as the signage in the frames and the artwork specs for the chalk art murals. It was one of the most creative projects I've had the pleasure of working on, not to mention one of the funnest! Congrats again to the happy couple Sam & Nisha who look absolutely gorgeous on their big day! Check out this beautiful event captured by He & She Photography...Sam+Nisha @ Style Me Pretty

Sorry I've been M.I.A!
HELLOOOO Blogworld..I'm Still Here!!!
My goodness...it's been some time since I've last blogged! What have I been up to?! Well, Invitation & Paper Element design for 3 weddings and attending a few weddings at that! Wedding season has been in full effect and while things are calming down here for just about a month, November will be one for the books with back-to-back travel to San Francisco for my best friend's wedding and then to Costa Rica for yet another wedding! I promise I'll be back with some great photos of some of the work I've been doing recently and hopefully some great photos from my travels!
xoxo

Sam + Michelle tie the knot!
I couldn't be more excited for this wedding! Our wonderful friends Sam & Michelle tie the knot this Friday! I can't believe the big day is finally here and what an awesome day it will be! I've never met a couple that more embodies the spirit of fun. I was lucky enough to be able to work with them over the last few months with a few of their paper elements for the wedding including their invitation set, Michelle's shower invitation, the table numbers and then the programs for the ceremony.
Sam & Michelle were so very involved in the design and feel of their paper elements - starting with their invitation set which was heavily influenced by their love of the beach and music - specifically Jack Johnson concert posters. I can't wait to see everything come together on Friday - it's going to be absolutely beautiful and unique to them as a couple.
Stay tuned for some photos of the actual items and hopefully of the lovely couple on their day! Congrats Sam & Michelle!

Table Talk!
I can't believe it's May 10th and Sam & Michell's wedding is only 10 days away! They're such wondeful friends and a great couple and we're so excited to be at their big day! I was lucky enough to work with them on their invitations and Michelle's shower invitations. I haven't put up photos yet of the invitations but those will be coming soon! For now here are some samples of the table numbers we're doing...can you say fun beach theme!? Everything they're doing is so SD beach inspired!

Happy Mother's Day!
Ava's first picture with Great-Gram |
Mother's Day has always been a holiday that my family cherishes and celebrates and while we're not doing a formal get together this Sunday, this year is no different! The women in my family are strong, funny and resilient and I am proud to say that I look up to all of them! So this Sunday even though I won't be with them all I will be thinking of them and thanking each of them for shaping me in their own little way.
